Introduction

By engaging in group tasks, class discussions, and problem-based-activities throughout this module , I developed significant employability skills that are essential for future professional roles and in the academic accomplishment.  I also gained a deeper understanding of how these skills shape effective performance and collaboration. The following sections reflect on three areas of improvements: teamwork, problem solving and communication.

Teamwork

My teamwork skills improved through group activities  where we were required to work collaboratively on shared tasks.  I learned how to separate responsibilities fairly, contribute my strenghs and support others when they encounter challenges during the sessions. Working with people who had different opinions helped me identify the value of cooperation and adaptability. I also strengthened my capability to negotiate roles and maintain a positive group dynamic. To sum up, these experiences taught me how effective teamwork relies on trust, responsibility, and mutual respect.

Communication

My communication skills developed noticeably through class discussions and short presentations. I learned how to express my ideas with more clarity and listen actively to others. Furthermore, when I have any issues with my module, coursework, sickness, extension I know how to contact my tutor in a formal manner. Contributing to discussions needed me to build confidence in speaking while also being open to alternative viewpoints. I also improved my written communication through reflective tasks, ensuring that my ideas were structured and coherent. These activities assisted me understand how strong communication supports collaboration and prevents misconceptions in academic and professional areas.

Problem Solving

Problem-solving was strengthened through tasks that required analysing information, recognising the core issues, and finding practical solutions. In several sessions, we were presented with scenarios that required critical thinking and decision-making in a group or individually. I learned to approach challenges more reasonably by breaking them down into manageable steps and evaluating different options before choosing the most effective solution. This process helped me become more resilient and self-possessed when dealing with uncertainty or complex tasks. These problem-solving experiences are valuable for future roles that require analytical thinking.

conclusion

Overall, these activities helped me develop a stronger foundation from being  in teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. Every skill has contributed to my ability to work effectively with others, express ideas clearly, and approach challenges strategically. These developments will support my academic progress and improve my readiness for future employment opportunities.
